When it comes to creating homemade dog shampoos, its essential to choose ingredients that are free of pesticides, fragrances, dyes and preservatives, says Dr. Paula Simons, a veterinarian and the staff veterinary consultant at K9 of Mine.

- Combine oatmeal, baking soda and water until fully incorporated.
